Ron walks Laura through the changes in state occurring at melting, freezing and condensing points on the journey of matter as energy is applied to it. What can we say, Laura does her best, and is only really stumped when they reach the subject of molten wood, which is just something Laura will not and cannot comprehend. There's only so much hope.
