Wisconsin Republicans backed Congressman Tom Tiffany for governor at their annual state party convention this weekend. Rumored infighting, including a recent attempt to oust the party chair, also took a back seat amid calls for unity.

But their overall strategy to retain control of the state Legislature and counter Democrats’ enthusiasm remains unclear. Henry Redman, a staff reporter at the Wisconsin Examiner, joined our News Producer Faye Parks this afternoon to give us the rundown.
