The road filled with defeat and discouragement is challenging, but when we encounter the risen Jesus, it is the most rewarding. But with Jesus as our guide, we can overcome uncertainty and achieve the ultimate victory of eternal life.

Take Away - The Road to Emmaus is a powerful reminder that Christ is present with us even in our darkest moments. - When we are disillusioned, afraid, and defeated, we can turn to Scripture and prayer to encounter the risen Christ. - And when we encounter Christ, we are called to respond in faith and witness to his presence in our lives. For Cleopas and his friend, the memory of the crucified, dead Jesus has turned into the resurrected Jesus. God wants to open your eyes to heal your discouraged heart. When you see Jesus in the midst of your battles, he will become the reason to celebrate and be joyful.
