One picks up a copy of the Bible and sees two divisions—the Old and New Testament. How can one understand these two divisions? Which one are we to live under today? Can we handle aright the word of truth properly? Our broadcast affirms we can—let’s just go back to the Bible.

It is very easy to think something is Biblical, but it is not. We would all concur that much teaching from man is accepted as Biblical truth when it is not. This study takes us back to the Bible to renew our zeal for the word of Christ and its authority.

The Bible is unlike any other book. Men were guided by the Holy Spirit and were inspired of God to pen its sacred truths. This study helps us to grow in appreciation and application of God’s Word.

True authority from God is revealed through God’s Holy Word the Bible. God has always made it clear to mankind what man needs to know and what man needs to do.

Reading the Psalms is always a joy. Psalm 8 speaks of God’s excellence and what a joy that has come to man. Studying the excellence of God and when accepted, helps man to excel in Christ.

Thinking of all God has done and is doing for mankind, friends our thankfulness should respond to God in doing as well. As people that are thankful, we should express such thankfulness in our obedience.

Titus 2:11, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” Yes! Let us be thankful and grateful for the grace of God! Let us see His grace expressed unto us through this study.

Paul simply expressed, “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” What embraces that victory in Christ? This simple word study allows us to see how “overcomers” can “come on over” when this life ends.

Paul had wonderful words of thanks for the church to whom the book of Colossians was written. Let us grow from this text to be thankful for the things God provides.
