We take a lesson from the life of Timothy to continue in the things that are right, obviously changing things that need to be changed and both to be done according to the scriptures.

The words of the angel of the Lord unto Gideon affirmed God’s choice to deliver Israel, but also a great account from scripture that answers many questions of doubt today.

While a book of brevity, 2 John has plenty to say on avoiding error. By walking in truth, one is prepared to know and avoid error.

Truth on which we can depend…truth we can know, truth that guides us. A short book that is long in truth is 2 John.

The sweet hymn reminds us “How beautiful heaven must be.” That beauty will be for those living for Christ here in looking forward to what is there.

Throughout the Bible, a lamb was a symbol of sacrifice, but when it came to Christ, THE lamb of God, He was the sacrifice for man’s salvation.

Everyone understands the importance of a good foundation—for houses, buildings and yes, even life. Christ is THE Foundation on which ALL should build.

We can do without a number of things and still do well and if we are missing something that will help, that we will add. But is that the case with God and Christ?

No matter how grim things in life may be, God has the answers and provisions if one will but turn to Him—hope is ahead and its new every morning.

Jesus was THE Master Teacher and His Mastering of parables helped many to understand. What a blessing to consider those parables and especially the parable of the ten virgins.
