A lot of things can happen in a year…looking back just one year has probably brought a lot of changes in your life. Let’s see what happened among Christians in just one year.

Let us not focus on death that we cease living, but rather let be living as God would have us to live when we die. Heb. 9:27 teaches, “And as it is appointed for men to die once.” How will we be living?

What a joy to turn back the pages of God word to remember and learn from those of days gone by—things written for our learning. Deuteronomy reminded then and reminds now.

Paul had wonderful words of thanks for the church to whom the book of Colossians was written. Let us grow from this text to be thankful for the things God provides.

Titus 2:11, “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.” Yes! Let us be thankful and grateful for the grace of God! Let us see His grace expressed unto us through this study.

Paul simply expressed, “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” What embraces that victory in Christ? This simple word study allows us to see how “overcomers” can “come on over” when this life ends.

Thinking of all God has done and is doing for mankind, friends our thankfulness should respond to God in doing as well. As people that are thankful, we should express such thankfulness in our obedience.

God loves us—His creation! Because He loves us, He grants unto us “…all things that pertain to life and godliness…” (2 Pet. 1:3). Let’s see how God loves us and in turn through our obedience, let us love Him.

The words of Jesus from Jn. 5:39, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.” Speaking of Christ; searching for us!
