As senseless as the many tragedies that have happened, we find ourselves trying to make sense of it all. How thankful for some established truths from the Bible to help us maneuver through such trying times.

A small phrase by Naaman teaches a great lesson. We’ve all thought that something was right, yet we learned later it was not. Is it not wonderful that we can change our mind for the better? Change mind—change life.

Historians acknowledge the uniqueness of Christ; simple believers acknowledge His greatness…but true followers acknowledge Him as deity and as the Captain of their salvation. Let us look at the Christ as the Creator and the Captain of all.
