The atrocities committed in Israel last weekend has many people asking why people would murder in the name of God. More than 2,000 people, including at least 25 Americans, have been killed and in Gaza since Hamas launched attacks last Saturday. While outrage is necessary, Christians must be careful to remember the Great Commission above all else. Matt Walter is the Executive Director of the Tampa based International Muslim Outreach. He joined us this morning to remind us that God loves the 1.8 billion Muslims of the world, and He is “not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance” (2 Peter 3:9b). Furthermore, He has commanded His people to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19b) – meaning all ethnic groups, almost a quarter of which are majority Muslim.
