Central London was brought to a standstill when International Rebellion started its two weeks of protest around the world. Thousands of environmentalists took to the streets in Westminster, Whitehall and Trafalgar Square. They danced and enjoyed themselves and children were seen playing and painting in the streets.
A hearse was driven into Trafalgar Square and it stalled adjacent to Nelson's Column, with the driver and passenger chained to each other. A 'pretend' road casualty could also be seen under a back wheel of the hearse. This symbolic picture attracted thousands of people who were eager to capture & circulate such a unique photo via social media.
