Hey, everyone. Welcome to internet profits blueprint podcast. And today I want to talk about two steps in publishing. If you have been following for a while, you know that I talk a lot about publishing contents, and I want to talk about that specifically today is because I know that there are a lot of people out there who are publishing contents and they already know the creating contents part, but what most people miss is everything after that. And that's what I'm going to talk about today.

All right. The first step in publishing contents is obviously creating the contents. I think publishing content online, this game is not just for online marketers. It's not just for people who want to become an influencer or celebrity on the internet. I think even if you are working for someone else, it is still so important for you to start publishing, to pick a platform and to start creating contents around a topic that gets you excited.

Publishing contents it will well be the safety net for you when you decided to quit your job one day in the future. Because if you have been publishing content on the internet, even when you have no intention to become an entrepreneur or an online marketer, but eventually one day when you finally decided to launch something online, to quit your job, because there are already people following you and listening to you and paying attention to you all the time, then you will have people who are ready to buy. So when you finally decided to quit your job, you will be fine because people will start buying for whatever you put out into the market. So that's step number one.

Step two in publishing contents, which is also I think the most crucial part and the step that most content creators missed, is this..

It is to show up long enough to get noticed. Now I know that this sounds simple but trust me, this is the hardest part for most of the content creators out there. So the question that I want you to think about is this..

How many TV series that only get noticed after few seasons and how many movies that you only started to watch after few series? I wasn't always a Marvel fan until three to four years ago. I think after I watched the Avengers.. I started to like it, and then I went back to all of the Marvel movies from the beginning to the end.

It is the same thing for your contents. No one is going to start listening from the first episode, just accept the fact. Usually they will come across one of your episodes through recommendation by friends, or somehow they found you on iTunes. And if they like it, then they will go back to the first episode and start listening, started to follow along and then eventually become a fan. But the key is you have to be willing to show up long enough for them to found you. This is the very key. And most content creators quit before their future fans have the chance to notice them.

And the moment they quit, it's over. I think it is important to care less about the stats and numbers in the beginning. You just continue to do it until your fans found you one day in the future.. It is going to be happening. Just trust me. Just trust the process.

You have to be patience enough and just trust the process. And that's my message for you today. Hope this gives you some motivation to keep doing it. Even when you don't see the result or don't see the point to do it now..
