as the daughter of an interracial marriage, black dad and white mom, that was always normalized for me. I am also a mixed/black girl living in all predominantly white spaces and my experiences in cringe has been heavily influenced by my race so I started wondering why. I also moved to America from Italy, which is when I truly realized the impact that your race can have on who you date. as someone who is quite attracted by asian guys, why is is it that I have virtually no chance with them? Why is it that only black guys have approached me? Why is it that it’s almost always black guy/white girl and not the opposite? In this episode I’ll explore my experiences and my responses to those questions. In a way my journey with race.
