No planets to explore today, never the less: Dawa is sus! Mirai blows up a whale. Ashe has one of the most days of his life. And Millina fails to help anyone.
Also, Mina is in bed with the flu, so she's not coming down tonight. One of our favorite sessions regardless!
Dawa takes some time to check on Ashe after his ordeal in Persona 5. Ashe takes time to go shooting with Millina, who is tragically offscreen.
The Phantom Thieves Jr. Brigade fly off to join the real phantom thieves (as professed by Ryuji, but who can trust that guy?) at Okumura Food Corp. Triggering a battle where if you die in the mind you die in real life. They've wiped out The Shredder's mind, but now they're going to a hat trick of a CEO and the Game master at the same time! Mina takes a student, Millina gives it old college try (and flunks out), Ashe tries to be Vegeta a little too well, Dawa saves some bacon, and Merri considers playing the memory playbook.

The gang meets with select members of the Phantom Thieves to investigate the two hearts of darkness. What awaits them is an old enemy, a sado-masochist, and some really damn good coffee.

We're waking up Mirai, getting up out of the ship and hopefully to a doctor - or at least we /think/ we're waking up Mirai as they seem to have split in two! While Issac sleeps comfortably in a Tokyo bush, Merri sticks with the party assuming he'll wake up later. This episode features fortified ingredients such as cool costumes, talking cats, mysterious phone apps, cosplayers with giant swords and Ashe evading the Very Due Talking-To Mina wants to give him. Oh and there's some stuff about hearts in there. And a hot goth doctor.

When we last left our intrepid adventurers, they had fled the world of Angel Beats in pursuit of delicious, not made of magic dirt food. As such they have touched down on Duel Academy Island, home of the legendary Golden Eggwich! Will Mirai's lust for breakfast sandwiches doom them to wander endlessly between themed dimensions? Or will the arrival of new foes give the party the chance to d-d-d-duel their way to delicious victory? Only time will tell on the latest episode of Interstitial: Heart To Mind Layer!

The haitus has ended, and with it, we say goodbye to Sal and Rose, aka Cyrus and Remiem. But not all is dark, as we meet our new companion Millina who joins us just in time as everyone makes their escape from the world of Angel Beats.
