In our ninth episode of the Daily Arrow in Season 1, Kyle Lee, Media Production Coordinator for IVED, led us through the Matthew 23 and a powerful essay from "Keeping the Faith: Reflections on Politics and Christianity" that invited us to pray for leaders in the church. Pride leads to judgment and looking down on other people. Sadly, that culture of condemnation is pervasive in the American church today. One way to be less judgmental is to pray fervently for those we desire to have integrity instead of hurling judgment. So, we invite you to take the opportunity every Sunday to be led through a time of contemplation, devotion, scripture, and prayer that helps interpret the world around you through the lens of Christ and Faith.
This guide was written by Area Ministry Director and IVED Team Leader, Jonathan Walton.
