In episode 34, I interview Julianne Lane, a digital marketer and social media manager from West Wales who sold everything and moved to the other side of the world with a backpack, never to live in the same way again! We dive into her thoughts on minimalism, what she has learned from having less, how she navigates the consumerism on social media and so much more!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sell all your stuff? Have you had the urge to purge your clothes and things? Have you been inspired by Marie Kondo or The Minimalists but not sure how to apply it to your own life?
Julianne and I bonded on social media over teaching and living in Thailand. Now she is one of my closest friends and inspires me daily with her minimalist lifestyle! She loves to travel but found she was happiest settling down in her beautiful home country. She is a passionate vegan, minimalist who loves to hike, cook and travel but is all about respecting individuals and their own life choices. PSA: She is not preachy or condescending EVER!
Following our episode I decided to take on the 333 challenge for August 2021 when this is being released and I challenge YOU to join me.
