In January 2012, Lee Cipolla directed medical drama "The Shift," includding the iconic Danny Glover, which won the Audience choice award for best film at the 2013 Palm Beach International Film Festival. This is not his first win at PBIFF. His short film, "Taken Away," won first place at the 2002 Palm Beach Film Festival student showcase of films.   Cipolla also has two films that were bought by Lionsgate and were released in May called "Harder They Fall" and "Know Thy Enemy."
