Kindergarten Readiness: IT TAKES A VILLAGE!
1: Teach them how to be independent rather than focusing so hard on ABC’s and 123’s and let the teachers do their job – Give a background, sure. But, teaching them to be independent will help them as students and become teachable.
2: Basic Life Skills – These will carry them through school and everyday life, into adulthood.
3: Patience - Teachers have a classroom of students, so they cannot give all their attention to your child. Teaching them patience, is KEY to their experience in school.
Into our next topic I just want to put this out there:
Listen to your mom gut, get everything checked out. You know your baby!

Child with Delays:
Don’t compare your child to other kids- development stages are different for every child. Mom comparison is a thief of joy, do not say “oh your kids not doing that? Mine is” You have no idea what someone is going through, what is going on with their kid or why they have these delays. PLEASE let’s be better and stop the MOM Comparison
Working from home – with your little one. Not the easiest task and here we are, moms just doing it anyway.
- If you would die tomorrow your job would have you replaced by the end of the month, your family always needs to come first.
- Your replaceable at work, you’re not replaceable at home.
