Greg von Hausch has been at the helm of the Ft. Lauderdale Intl. Film Festival since 1989. He is in charge of deciding which movies get chosen to be showcased. Last year, many thought he was crazy for opening with a black and white film called "The Artist," but it turned out he had a hint of foresight. The film ended up winning Best Picture at The Oscars. Through the years, he has brought many other cinematic gems here for South Florida cinephiles to enjoy, as well as a plethora of upcoming and well-known celebrities.
