We chat with guitarist/vocalist Marco Pastorino as he dives into their latest effort, “Melodies Of Green And Blue”, an acoustic EP which serves as an encore to the previous full-length album “Viridian”. Releasing an album before a pandemic was something they (or anyone) never saw coming, but they made the best of a dire situation by putting forth a newer and fresh perspective version from the original songs. Marco talks about how this EP really showed a newer side of the members in Temperance, with a recording experience unlike anything else they have ever done. She describes how the “...intense years bring you a lot of wisdom” prior/during the writing process of this album, and that many different sorts of influences came into the light. Without struggle, there is no act of perseverance – and that reflected onto the album title. Culminating 23 albums in Anneke's career, she sees these as chapters throughout her life, but it's no time to just sit back and dwell on the past – as there are many more left to contrive and formulate in her bright future.
