On this episode of Woo Me, we interview Ayo Clemons, Global Somatics Healer. Her practice includes massage, energy work and CranioSacral. Ayo has been a community organizer for over 13 years and is experienced in wellness education, trauma informed self/community care workshops, body-based awareness coaching and healing justice facilitation.

In this episode we learn how Ayo’s years of community organizing brought her to her Global Somatic Practice. We learn about what somatic means, what a session can look like, and the benefits of slowing down. Ayo brings us through a short guided breathing meditation, noting that whatever you’re feeling is okay.Everyone experiences their healing journey differently.
