Danny Escobar is entering his fourth season with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He is currently serving the Angels as the Return to Performance Coordinator, overseeing the training progressions for players who are limited in physical activity. Danny spent his first two years as the Strength Coach for the Rookie Affiliate in the Arizona League, and then spent his third year with the High-A Affiliate, the Inland Empire 66ers in San Bernardino, CA.
Prior to joining the Angels, Danny was privately training athletes at local training centers and on-campus in Goodyear, AZ. At the time, most of his clientele centered on middle school- and high school-age football, volleyball, track, and baseball athletes. Previously, he worked at FittQuest Training Systems in Phoenix, as well as at Foothills Sports Medicine & Rehab/FAST Training in Litchfield Park, AZ. In 2014, Danny was an intern with Northern Arizona University’s Track & Field team, where he assisted with the Sprints and Hurdles training regimen. At NAU, Danny completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, which had an emphasis on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
