Get to know Heena:
Maaji’s Street Kitchen is an up-and-coming food truck that will serve the St. Louis area. Our traditional Indian recipes are made from scratch using aromatic spices, fresh herbs, and organic ingredients over 90% of the time. When you eat at Maaji’s you’re more than our guest - you’re our family!
Heena Chopra grew up in New Delhi, India, where her Maaji whipped up delicious, traditional foods. Their kitchen was a gathering place for family and friends. It was also Heena’s culinary training ground. Her Maaji showed how to prepare delicious foods with skill and deep love, right down to picking cilantro leaves and blending the family’s masala chai.
Heena has spent the past 14 years in St. Louis working in the food industry and keeping her own family’s kitchen well-stocked. She loves sharing the Indian food that she grew up with. She is grateful for all the support she has received so far and is excited to bring Maaji’s Street Kitchen to the people of St. Louis!
