Dr Ross Deuchar is Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of the West of Scotland. He has been conducting research into gang culture, violence and organised crime for many years and is the author of 5 books and numerous research papers. His most recent book, 'Gangs and Spirituality', documents insights from his research conducted across three continents of the world. Ross is a Fulbright scholar, an Affiliate Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University and is also a certified Mindfulness Practitioner and Life Coach.
