Vintage sci-fi rears its tentacled head with “The Long Question,” by David Mason, from the November, 1957 edition of Infinity magazine. It’s a sharp and satirical take on smarmy game shows and the nature of time. 
Then, we hear horror/sci-fi legend H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Terrible Old Man,” in which a quiet New England seaside hamlet houses a mysterious dotard who may not be so harmless after all.
