In the world today, there are many different forms of distractions in which the enemy uses as an attempt to pull you away from God. Whatever your form of distraction might be, seek God for the strength to no longer rely on those things to sustain you for God has better things for you to focus your attention on. Ephesians 5:15-16 tells us to be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. As Paul informs us, it is critical that we give our time to God and avoid the things that are not of Him and walk as a wise man. We must be careful to not be drowned by distractions.

All throughout scripture, we see Gods love for us, how He loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten son - Jesus Christ! Jesus died for our sins and because of His sacrifice, we are able to receive the promise of salvation.

When we follow the Word of God and His plan of salvation, it is promised to us that we can spend forever with Him! John 3:5 says that no one can enter into the Kingdom of God unless they are born of the water and of the Spirit. We are all sinners and are in need of a savior! Even being the sinners that we are, Jesus demonstrated His love for us by dying on the cross! Its stated in Romans 5:8 that "…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus is not waiting for us to be perfect, or to have it all together before turning to Him. In fact, Jesus embraces brokenness for He is able to restore and bring salvation to all. As sinners, we are sick, as sinners, we are diseased and in need of a touch from the ultimate physician who is able to do anything!

A secret place can be two-fold and we have two ways in which we can choose to use it. We can use a secret place as a place of hiding, a place to horde secret sin, a place to conceal unholy things, a way to participate in practices and rituals behind closed doors leaving it out of the sight of others, it can be used as a place of darkness to dwell in. But on the contrary, we can use a secret place to seek the will of God, to grow in intimacy with Him and to further build our relationship with Him. It's in this secret place where faith can be birthed, where miracles, signs and wonders can take place and where transformation can happen! Join me in this episode as we further dive in!

Paul tells us in Romans 7:14-25 of the conflict of nature that lies within us. The desire to do right but inevitably doing wrong because of our sinful nature. 

As you fight against the tug and pull that the enemy wants to have over your mind, as you contemplate the daily decisions of things you should and shouldn’t do, will you choose to succumb and give in to the opposing force from the enemy and live in sin or will you have your mind made up and allow the Spirit of God to fight on your behalf and establish all of your steps? Just as Paul posed the question "who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? I pose the same question to you. As the officiator and the One who gives the final judgement, who will you allow to win the game of tug of war in your life?

But our God, the One who is most high, the One who is all powerful and the One who has never lost a battle has even bigger weapons! Weapons that defeat anything that come up against it. 1 Peter 5:8 - Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Join me in this episode as we dive into the story of Adam and Eve and the fall of man. We will talk through the steps which led to the fall and how the enemy was able to succeed.  Our adversary who is wild and untamed, has always used the same tricks to get man to fall, even in the world today. Happy Resurrection Day! Jesus has risen and defeated death!

Mark 16:5-7 - Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed. And he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.

It's not about who finishes first, but its who will endure to the end. Jesus defeated death and rose to the occasion! Will you endure till the end in your walk with God so that you can rise to the occasion. Will you push as you climb up the hills in life? Will you allow others to support you and hold your arms while you keep your staff raised or will you let your guard down and become weak. Will you accept defeat or will you proclaim victory? The choice is yours but it's only those who endure who will be able to rise!
