Into San Diego

INSIGHT Episode Six centers around the challenges sexual assault survivors face in their pursuit of justice. NBC 7 Investigates found less than ten percent of rape investigations reported to San Diego Police since 2013 resulted in an arrest. But, this isn’t just a San Diego problem. Numbers nationwide show a vast majority of sexual assaults reported to police go unsolved. Tom Jones and Dorian Hargrove explain the local statistics and sit-down with Jessica Pride, an attorney whose focus is finding some form of justice for local survivors of sexual assault.
