You know in most cases when things escalate out of control, we want to take matters into our own hands only to find out later that we have robbed ourselves from the lesson or outcome that God has for us.

Allow God to raise you out of the pit of darkness or despair you find yourself in. Your assignment might be small, but it will move mountains. Remain steadfast. Remember every Yes to God is a seed even though you don't see anything yet. At the right time the opportune time God will spring forth.

Trust the hand of God that where you are at, might seem to others that there is no movement, especially in that pit you are in but behind the scenes, God is shifting and shaping, moving and refining so when your time comes, He will be there holding your hand to show others that He gets the Glory, not man.

So, even on the days you feel invisible, you are seen by the One who holds and keeps things together. You raise me up is a powerful soul story, a stirring devotional journey from the pit to the promise, this soul story captures the cry of a heart that refuses to remain buried in darkness. Step into the garden. The safe place, a haven for many a weary. When tuning in today come expectant so God can be gentle to do the outpour.

As you tune in with your bible or journal invite a friend or 2 to join you. Tune in as Doreen Rosslee shares an encouraging word on - The Spirit of Love with reference to 2nd Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” It is better to be kind than right. It is better to pursue holiness than to crave being heard. Sometimes speaking in love means having to calm ourselves, to avoid anger in the heat of the moment, being bold and standing up against injustice. But even in those moments, we should strive for prayer, pause and use discernment to relay our cause.

Remember true love doesn't shout to be noticed, neither does speaking out of turn with aggression, arrogance or resentment. These acts don't make you seen. Being loud isn't the same as being heard and one's attitude doesn't sum up the impact.

So instead of being irrational or argumentative at times, let us choose wisdom, humility, compassion and grace. I am reminded of a hymn - beautiful words, wonderful words of love. Sometimes we look for arguments where there are none and when those times arise, remind yourself to put on the full armour, to breathe, pause, walk away, not out of weakness but simply because you choose to speak words of love that are true gentle kind considerate and compassionate.

Remember always you are seen. You are valued. You are cherished. You are chosen even when you doubt yourself, but your handprint is what makes you unique.

I find that there is power and refreshment in quiet time. Therein lies your strength your grace your resilience.

You know when God is doing a deep work it involves a lot of nudging, of tugging. it involves a crushing a stirring of trusting where you cannot see. It involves pain and again asking when. It involves being unprepared relying totally on him.

The Samaritan woman was unnamed yet shunned like so many today.

So perhaps you are going through a "Well season." A season of not knowing but asking God when. A season of weeping, planning, praying, praising and still asking God for - "When."

It is during this time that God sees your heart, sees the intention, sees what you do during the waiting, the lifting, the advancing. He looks to see how you handle pain disappointment, sadness, hope, joy and having to forge ahead.

Through all of this - God is preparing you for your next- It could be a job, a new change in direction or location, or preparing you for stepping out into your level best whilst seeking direction.

So, tune into this episode for this spoken word, where pause is needed and is given.
