Its amazing that no matter how many times we read up on Judas, there is a new Revelation brought to light. Though this is my 2nd sequel on Judas as the 1st was 'Thd Hand That Dipped The Bread,' it brings a twist on certain principles values and morals of which when Hd walked with thd Lord, not knly was he , Judas Iscariot thd treasurer but also follower, friend and disciple. He was amongst the 12 who saw the many Miracles, signs and wonders yet sold Jesus. Guess one can say , Judas fell along the wayside and into a trap but according to biblical scholars,, it had to play out and happen this way. For so many this day remember the 7 words of the Cross and the 7 stations of the Cross, depicting the love Jesus had for you and me, that He took it upon Himself to be a Sacrifice. And as I was preparing myself last night for today I came across an article about why the napkin was folded and found that an interesting read, not knowing that this morning it would be part of the sermon. According to Hebrew custom, if the Master tosses his napkin on the table, then the servant can remove his plate, however if he places the folded napkin beside his plate, then he is returning, in other words, he either got up to answer his phone, open the door or got distracted somewhere, but he is returning. Likewise the folded napkin by Jesus head means, He is returning, He is coming back, so dont give up nor become despondent for Jesus is Alive and living inside you and me. Isn't it amazing how through turbulent times God sustains you. Example lets look at how Covid contributed in Gods sustainability to you and me. Church doors opened so we could fellowship, companies reopened and those who lost jobs and to our surprise, manage to improvise. Covid gave you amd and I a push to either start something, engage with others, plan or change the way we do things even change our mindsets the way we do things, look at things and the strength to push on through. So, never a burden that ye doth not carry. Never a burden that Ye does not care. Whether the day maybe be sunny or dreary, Jesus is always there So, hold onto this word shared with you today right here on Coffee Time.
