Into the light

One of my earlier podcasts was on the subject of fear and the impact fear can have on us. 

In this episode, I am joined by Charnice Blaize, owner of Blaized to discuss why it can be human nature to dim our lights and have limiting beliefs about ourselves.

Everybody lives with some element of fear in them, whether it’s fear of speaking up, fear of moving on, fear of getting rejected, fear of letting go or fear of getting hurt. With that being said, a lot of us walk around armoured with invisible no go signs on our foreheads. I wanted to discuss this subject because fear was once holding me back from a lot of things such as being my true authentic self which can be difficult in today’s world. I sit down with entrepreneur Nicholas Dex to discuss this.

I've always wondered why humans compare themselves to one another. Growing up I became aware that life wasn’t necessarily something that was fair. I understood that everyone was born into different situations with different privileges, some people are born with one parent whilst others are born with two and some born with none. The distribution of wealth was different depending on what type of family you were born into and depending on where you were born some people had more choices whilst others didn’

Purpose has always been something that I have self-actualized and live by. Everything that I have done in my life thus far has been done to fulfil my purpose in life. I discuss this subject with Cassandra. I really admire her journey #FromPainToPurpose and is someone who intentionally lives and thrives in purpose whilst reaching unimaginable heights doing so. We dig deep and speak about painful subjects but also emphasise the fact that on the other side of pain, there really is purpose.

Having been an observer my whole life, it became apparent to me that unlearning is essential for human growth. I decided to sit down with Alya Mooro and discuss this subject. I’ve really admired Alya’s journey of self-discovery and thought she would be the perfect person for this subject.
