11/24/19. The Path to Joy bring us God's perspective and promises: we have unity because we are in Christ, we have peace because Christ is near, and we experience intimacy with God when we focus on his goodness.

11/10/19. The happiest moments are when we forget our precious selves and seek to serve others for their good and God's glory. Paul's friends Timothy and Epaphroditus were these quality souls who were prepared to be sent anywhere, to serve anybody, and sacrifice anything.

11/3/19. Jesus is our Model for Humility, proving the eternal axiom He spoke, that whoever humbles one's self will be exalted by God. He also gives us the power to live in this mindset, the Humble Mindset, which produces more joy than we ever imagined.

10/27/19. Our union as fellow citizens in God's kingdom comes from the encouragement, comfort, participation, affection, and sympathy we have with the Triune God in Christ. Therefore we can trade in opportunities for strife with others to become like-minded and united by striving together side-by-side, contending for the sake of the Gospel.

10/20/19. Here again we see the life of Jesus on display in Paul: did Jesus try to make sure he was exonerated? Did he make sure no one sullied his name or shamed him, discrediting his work, words, witness?

10/13/19. As we begin Paul's Epistle to the Philippians we came to the backstory in Acts 16, and then the dive into the first key theme that Paul and Timothy greet those in Philippi and us too: we can have everlasting joy in God through union with Christ!
