In this special episode, they explore Augusta University’s environmental sciences with Brandon Cromer, PhD, assistant professor for Ecology, and Emma Herndon, an Biology major. They also meet with Kim Dillard, Park and Volunteer director, and Alicia Sweat, Executive Director and COO, to learn about Phinizy’s vital role in conservation and CSRA.

Finally, they roll up our sleeves and participate in the Eco Explorers program, becoming citizen scientists for a day! Watch as they examine micro-invertebrates, tour research facilities, and discover how Phinizy Swamp inspires both education and environmental stewardship.
