Professor Jilani-Hyler teaches a variety of classes including Introduction to American Government, U.S. Foreign Policy, Middle East Security Studies, and Model United Nations. She also conducts research on economic sanctions, cyber aggression, terrorism, and government responses to COVID-19. Professor Jilani-Hyleris an expert in US foreign policy, the United Nations, and the Middle-East and North Africa.
