The bumpy path of the village, the high and low slopes, made the delicious delicacy of traditional chui-jhal (a special local food) digested already right there.
After going a long way, we left the village and almost entered the forest.
The end of the day, and the fact that the rays of light in the sky could not reach between the huge bamboo groves, gave quite a ghostly atmosphere.
That made us talk about some ghost stories!
The driver of the van is a very nice person.
So this almost barren forest, did not frighten us much. However, I was saddened by the thought that I might not see the temple for which I had taken so much troubles of coming here.
যদিও প্রায় সন্ধ্যে হয়ে গেল, তবুও রিনির নম্বর থাকায় খুব একটা দুশ্চিন্তা হলোনা।
আমরা চলছিতো চলছিই।
গ্রামের আকাঁবাকাঁ মেঠো পথ, উঁচুনিচু ঢাল, ঝাঁকুনির চোটে হজম হয়ে যায় চুই-ঝালের গোস্ত।
অনেকটুকু যাবার পর গ্রাম ছেড়ে প্রায় বনের মধ্যে ঢুকে গেলাম।
একেতো বেলা ফুরিয়ে যাওয়া, তারউপর সুবিশাল বাঁশের ঝাড়ের মাঝে যেটুকু আলোর রেশ আকাশে আছে তা পৌঁছাতে না পারা, বেশ এক ভৌতিক আবহ দিলো।
ভ্যানওয়ালা চাচা খুবই চমৎকার মানুষ রিনি থাকার সময় কথার আলাপে বুঝেছিলাম।
তাই এই প্রায় গহীন অরণ্যে, অচেনা বনে খুব একটা ভয় হলোনা। তবে মন খারাপ হলো এই ভেবে যে, যার জন্য এত ঝড় ঝামেলা করে আসা, সেই মন্দিরটিই হয়তো দিনের আলোয় দেখতে পাবনা।
