First of all, we apologize for the noise you might be encountering whilst listening to this episode as it had to be recorded virtually. Having said this, we really hope you will still be able to appreciate all the wonderful insight that Henrietta Hill has shared about her life as a professional violist and individual artist.
In our IntoViola interviews we speak with people who we admire and here is certainly someone worth listening to!
More about this month's artist:
From classical to contemporary music; From performer to educator; Henrietta is a violist that isn't afraid of challenges and trying new things. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and since, has been part of diverse award-winning chamber music ensembles such as the Alkyona Quartet (2018-2021) and the Trilogy Ensemble .
The pandemic for her has been a time to experiment with new and innovative performance formats, starting the Jumis ensemble , a flexible piano quartet that has been making classical and new music available through their wonderful live streams.
"Henrietta believes in open, exciting programming for live music events and listens to the audience for their musical wishes. Whether a concert, workshop or tailor-made interactive performance, Henrietta believes in high quality Live Music experiences."
