New York Beer Project or NYBP to the regulars is just one of those places that you can't get enough of. Most everything is made from scratch from the food, beer, and cocktails I'm almost willing to bet that you can't find something on the menus that you don't like. If you find yourself in or near the Horizon west part of Winter Garden or maybe visiting a wold famous theme park with an iconic logo that's close by (if I say the name they will 100% get removed) then pop in and give yourself a well deserved treat/meal/drink.

This place needs no introduction. Broad street is a new brewery located in a historic part of downtown Brooksville, FL and fits in great. With a theme of antique door and friendly amostphere for every one to enjoy, this needs to be on your list of places to visit. The couple that run the brewing company has done so with grace to bring a hip vibe to a historic town and the crowds show it. 16 taps loaded and most of their own brews with a healthy wine selection to boot they also have multiple food truck services when they are open and is worth checking out on its own. live music and special events through out the week round out just a taste of what's offered here.

In Florida Cracker fashion, the Tap Room is located in the historic part of Brooksville, FL and is what comes to mind when "Country Florida" is mentioned. The tap room is sandwiched between the "Scratch Kitchen", the "Trading company" and the "Real estate" companies that are all under the Florida Cracker brand. Needless to say, you can always find something while you're here. As a heads up for when you do come out this way, the tap room and trading company does except credit card but the kitchen is a cash only establishment, but do have an ATM on property. Being a multi-generational native myself, these would be the places I would grow up with and I'm happy to see places like this still exist. Swing by for a pint of beer and a biscuit before 2 if you have a chance.

In the historic downtown Brooksville, FL resides a small bistro that just so happens to be called The Bistro. With a lively menu, drink specials, and authentic brick oven for pizza making. This a great place for either started the day with friends, making a day out of it or renting out the establishment for a special event or wedding. A must go to place while you're visiting out in the Brooksville area.
