Introducing... Darin Epsilon

Supported by (in alphabetical order): AFFKT, Brigado Crew, Deer Jade, Dirty Doering, Nora En Pure, Miss Monique, Solvane, VONDA7, and hopefully you too! 🫶

For the 116th release on Perspectives Digital, label owner Darin Epsilon returns with Garuda Rising, a track born from a moment of inspiration during his recent tour in Bali. The initial spark for the song ignited while waiting at Ngurah Rai International Airport, and from there, the idea blossomed into an electrifying fusion of deep bass, atmospheric depth, and captivating melodies.

Following the monumental success of his recent tracks Janissaries, Nirmata, and Tengri, Darin continues to push the boundaries of sound with his distinctive blend of melody, rhythm, and groove. His unwavering dedication to creating unforgettable dancefloor moments has solidified his reputation as one of the most sought-after names in the global Melodic House & Techno scene.

The title Garuda Rising is deeply symbolic, drawing inspiration from the legendary bird-like creature of Hindu and Buddhist mythology that serves as Indonesia’s national emblem. Representing strength, freedom, and resilience, the Garuda is a powerful symbol of the country’s rich heritage and spiritual traditions. Much like its namesake, Darin’s track embodies a sense of ascension and transformation, with soaring melodies and driving rhythms evoking the spirit of flight and liberation.

A true pioneer of the genre, Darin has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including Amsterdam Dance Event, Ultra Music Festival, Burning Man, and BPM Festival. His remarkable talent has been showcased at iconic venues such as Ministry of Sound and EGG (London), Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Stereo (Montreal), Sound Nightclub and Exchange (Los Angeles), to name just a few. With releases on the renowned labels Ritter Butzke, Siona Records, Katermukke, Einmusika, Renaissance, and Selador, Darin consistently earns praise and recognition from tastemakers across the electronic music world.

As Perspectives Digital approaches its 15 year milestone, Garuda Rising serves as a testament to the label’s continued influence and commitment to cutting-edge electronic music. Get ready for a captivating sonic journey and unforgettable experience designed for peak-time moments on the dancefloor!

This year's Burning Man received a record amount of rainfall (2-3 months worth of rain in 1 night) which led to historic flooding at Black Rock City 🌧️

The muddy conditions made it nearly impossible for vehicles to enter or exit and festival-goers became trapped in the Nevada desert. Over 70,000 attendees were ordered to shelter-in-place at their camps and conserve food, water, and supplies 🏜️

Due to the heavy rain, my performance on Friday was cancelled 😢 but thankfully The Fluffy Cloud was able to add me to their Saturday lineup alongside Vintage Culture, Sharam, Giolì & Assia, and more. Luckily a group of the most dedicated and hardcore Burners came down to lift our spirits and rave with us in the mud 🙌

A big THANK YOU to the Fluffer crew & family for making all of this possible and for helping me feel comfortable during this unprecedented disaster 🫶

The 76th release on Perspectives Digital sees the return of label boss Darin Epsilon's most popular track of all time remixed by Ukrainian phenomenon Miss Monique!

"My Own Time" was a landmark moment in Darin Epsilon's legendary career and became a viral sensation with over 3.3 million plays on YouTube, over 120,000 Spotify streams, and tens of thousands more on Soundcloud. The track features the vocal talents of Alice Rose and was originally released in November 2015 as part of the "No Regrets" mini-album. The combination of heartfelt lyrics, rolling bass groove, and unforgettable melodic arrangement saw the US artist capture the mid-decade musical zeitgeist with unerring precision.

Revisiting the track 5 years later, Ukrainian sensation Miss Monique makes her Perspectives Digital debut with a standout remix of "My Own Time". Alesia Arkusha hails from Kiev and is possibly the most recognized female Progressive House DJ on the planet, regularly playing in front of thousands of adoring fans around the world on a weekly basis. Through her Miss Monique moniker, she has quickly gained over 180,000 YouTube subscribers and over 25 million streams for her Mind Games and MiMo Weekly podcasts.

A production career has continued in tandem with a string of releases signed to the likes of Black Hole Recordings, Freegrant Music, Dear Deer, Bonzai Progressive, and more. Furthermore, her own Siona Records grows in popularity with each subsequent release. Miss Monique's remix of "My Own Time" opens with an earth-shattering kick and cone-melting bassline. Stereo separated shaker layers add dynamic energy before a muted arpeggio paves the way for Alice Rose's haunting vocals to take center stage. Open filtered energy fizzles through the arpeggiated sequence alternating with rich vocal phrases, while a new rhythmically poignant riff creates another layer of dancefloor energy. Hitting a powerful denouement post-breakdown, Miss Monique's interpretation has summer hit written all across every beautifully layered beat.
