We wanted to introduce you to our new podcast, The Science 7 - which launched today, so we have put it here as a bonus episode.

It's presented by Paul Connolly (who also hosts our Smart 7: Ireland Edition) and is a nice, relaxed look into the world's 7 most interesting Science and Technology stories - speaking to the insanely clever people who know how to explain them best.

In the first episode we explore the science of friendship, how lightning literally brought life to Earth, space tornadoes, how to become an astronaut, robot doctors, what's healthy about disgust and why there's bad news for bacon fans. It's a broad church, but guaranteed to pique your interest and make you feel slightly cleverer than you were before you listened!

It's going to be published every Sunday at 7am over at The Science 7 (if you can't click that link then just do a search wherever you get your podcasts).
