One of the biggest personal finance concerns many people have faced over the years is dishonest advisers selling complex, high-commission financial products to unsuspecting investors that can lock them in for years.

Amber Waheed is one of them and she lost her life savings after being duped by her adviser into signing up for long-term investments she believed were low risk.

In The Great Fraud Fightback series, named of course after the book, Amber deconstructs her story of how she lost her savings to a sophisticated financial advisory fraud and fought back against the system and won a landmark court case in Dubai.  In this episode she shares the background of her case of how she met her financial Advisor and introduces the first pitfalls to be avoided.
