Today my guest Christian and I discuss politics and racism. We may not agree on much, but I’m all for civil discourse & debate. Just a short episode as we didn’t have much time to record, so consider this Part 1. Part 2 likely to arrive some time in August-September.

In this solo episode, I discuss how I am uniquely qualified to speak on the subject of racism. Perhaps a “controversial” supposition, but… just listen to my story. Views and opinions are of course always debatable, but one’s lived experience is not.

A bit of an experimental episode today… my friend Brian and I used the “Alt Right: Age of Rage” documentary on Netflix as a springboard for our conversation. In the process we ended up discussing Nazi sympathizers in the U.S., education, Oregon’s racist history, #BlackLivesMatter vs #AllLivesMatter, coronavirus policy making, and more.
