I Am Enough

To say "I am loved" means that your existence is valued, cherished, and acknowledged by others. It is a state of being where you are accepted for who you are, and it implies that you have people in your life who care about your well-being, happiness, and safety.

Understanding what this means can be broken down into these core dimensions:

1. Feeling vs. Being Loved

There is a distinct difference between "feeling loved" and "being loved".

  • Being Loved: This is a factual state. It means people in your life hold affection, care, and appreciation for you, regardless of whether you consciously perceive it at any given moment.
  • Feeling Loved: This is the emotional and psychological interpretation of that love. Sometimes, because of personal filters, trauma, or stress, someone can be actively loved by others but struggle to feel it
