Dan Klitsner is a professional toy and game inventor who has licensed many beloved products onto the market, including the iconic toy Bop-It, which is about to celebrate its 25 year anniversary!

He is the founder and creative director of toy inventing and licensing firm KID Group LLC. He has created three #1 toys, including the "Bop It," as well as recipients of 2 gold IDEA award and 4 Toy of the Year Awards. He is an industrial designer and co-creator of the Perplexus line of 3-D ball-in-a-maze puzzle or labyrinth games.

Stephen Key, who started his career working in the toy and game industry as Manager of Design at Worlds of Wonder, interviews Dan about how he commercialized Bop-It, including prototyping and pitching, as well as his career in the industry. What advice does Dan have for creative people who want to be inventing for the long haul? How did he become a professional full-time toy and game inventor? It didn't happen overnight.

In addition to continuing to license new and awesome games onto the market, Dan has become a big hit on TikTok, where he has been sharing stories about Bop-It and encouraging others to celebrate their creativity.
