Limited-edition cassette produced in collaboration with Inverted Audio and Zurich University of the Arts. It features a 47-minute live recording by Swiss sound artist @didianita, drawn from the Computer Signals Archive - an extraordinary collection of over 50,000 hours of underwater recordings captured since 2012 off the coasts of Spitsbergen and Helgoland as part of a long-term climate research project.

Initiated by Swiss visual artist Hannes Rickli and sound artist Valentina Vuksic, the archive documents not only the ambient hum of the ocean but also the inner workings of the observatory itself - from the power draw of instruments to shifting electromagnetic fields - creating a unique blend of marine soundscapes and machine noise. Freely accessible under a Creative Commons license, See signals sea noise has become a fertile ground for artistic exploration.

Musicians including Ben Kaczor, Dianita, Lb Honne, and Hatarii are reimagining this material through performances, installations, and workshops. A standout is Dianita’s live set, recorded during Art Basel in the courtyard of urban winery S.P.A., now presented in full on this cassette.

Marking the first physical artefact of the project’s next phase, @seesignals opens the door to curated events, club nights, interactive exhibits, and special commissions, bridging scientific rigour with artistic imagination and inviting audiences to listen differently - to the sea, to machines, and to the act of listening itself. Bristol-based producer fka @boursin joins the fold at NYC-based imprint @scissorandthread with a forthcoming 12" single named 'Listless Intertext', accompanied with an exquisite dub flex from label bosses Frank & Tony.

The original is a 12-minute drift through hazy deep house textures, half-caught conversations, dreamy synths and shuffling percussion. Instead of clear vocals, we get indecipherable fragments that lend the track a woozy, dream-state quality - like trying to decipher a distant conversation while slipping out of consciousness. It’s deep and loose, a slow-burner that feels just as suited to headphones as it does a smoky backroom.

Frank & Tony’s Housebeat Dub flips that energy on its head. The duo keep the mood intact but drive it forward with a fat, rolling groove tailor-made for those blurry hours on the dancefloor. Where boursin pulls you inward, Frank & Tony push it outward - a hypnotic, floor-ready workout that still carries the ghostly essence of the original. Together, they make Listless Intertext a release that blurs the line between introspection and propulsion, subtle listening and functional club heat.

For Zander Hay - better known as @theburrellconnection - music has always been as much about people as it is about sound. His new EP for @craigie-knowes, 'I Waste My Time So You Don’t Have To', arrives as the label marks its 10th anniversary, a milestone that means more to him than most. Not only has Zander released music with the Glasgow-born imprint, he’s also been quietly running their PR from behind the scenes since the early days, helping to tell their story to the world.

That dual role makes this release feel like a full-circle moment. The EP gathers together material shaped in the club, in the bedroom, and most importantly, in the company of friends. Lead cut “E Before I” has already been heard echoing through Berlin basements, including in a live version taken from Zander’s performance at Tresor, invited by LNS and DJ Sotofett. The B-side heads deeper, pairing the dubbed-out force of “Celestial” with the warm, widescreen pads of “Ensemble” - tracks that carry what he half-jokingly calls his “signature sound,” something he’s been chiselling away at for over a decade.

Zander speaks candidly about the title of the record, pointing to the endless hours spent in pursuit of something original. He’s unflinching in his criticism of DJs hiding IDs or passing off other people’s tracks as their own - a reminder that, for him, credit and community go hand in hand. “Music is not a luxury, it’s an essential,” he insists, and it’s clear that ethos drives not just his own practice, but also the way he moves through the scene.

That scene has taken him from Glasgow, where he cut his teeth at La Cheetah Club and soaked up records at Rubadub, to Berlin, where he now co-runs Slurp of the Antics with Valcat - a party deliberately centred on live performance in a city often saturated with DJ culture. Between the drizzle-soaked after-hours of Scotland and the intensity of Berlin’s underground, he has carved out a practice that feels both grounded and exploratory, rooted in place yet open to evolution.

At the heart of it all is Craigie Knowes. For Zander, the label’s story is bound up with his own - from being pushed creatively by deadlines and honest feedback, to finding genuine friendship with Max, Mitch and the wider CK family. “Friendship!” he says without hesitation when asked about the most rewarding part of his journey so far. That word runs like a thread through his reflections: from teenage trips to Sub Club on borrowed IDs, to afterhour residencies, to the countless connections made through music over the years.

As he sets up a new studio, offers tuition, and continues to develop his live shows, Zander isn’t slowing down. 'I Waste My Time So You Don’t Have To' is more than a title; it’s a snapshot of where he’s at right now - committed, outspoken, and still finding joy in the graft. For him, the story of Craigie Knowes at 10 isn’t just about a label’s legacy, but about the friendships that make the music possible.

On Saturday 16th August, we welcomed @verdant-recordings label boss Andy Green to Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to celebrate the release of 'Rain on Window', the latest EP from Istanbul-based producer Havantepe.

Havantepe is the alias of Turkish-German producer and DJ Ismail Genc, co-founder of the Sublime Porte label. Born near Stuttgart, he relocated to Istanbul in 1994 and has been producing and performing techno since 1999.

Over the years, Havantepe has released on a range of respected imprints, including Dutch label spclnch, 200 Records, and Baum Records. His latest outing arrives via Vertex - a joint venture between Verdant Recordings (Andy Green) and Exalt Records (Jamie Bargeman).

'Rain on Window' EP features three solo productions alongside two remixes, weaving together minimal dub techno textures and atmospheric electronics, crafted to captivate even the most discerning listeners.

Marking their twelfth release, Colombian imprint Furatena gear up to issue ‘F5‘, the latest extended-player from Argentinian producer Saigg...Our pick is ‘Mod_F5’, a peak-time electro weapon steeped in the neon-lit streets of Buenos Aires. Saigg bombards the atmosphere with thumping drum rhythms, acid-punching basslines and tension-soaked frequencies that flicker like witchcraft rituals. The track feels like a network of glitching synapses plunging the audience into freefall.

Berlin-based record label Woodland Creatures return with a sprawling remix compilation, ‘Rising Despite Circumstances: Remixed’, curated by London-based producer Adam Gillett...Our standout remix is Benito's version of ‘Like An Animal’. A downtempo voyage into dream house, space-echoed frequencies with dubbed-out drums. From the second minute, the remix spirals into a soft cyclone of memory triggered by a hypnosis of chord progressions, floating like a cumulus cloud.
