Mike Hodge, President of Saville Resources sat down with Aaron Missere from Departures Capital to discuss latest drill results and the Niobium market. 

Saville Resources (TSX.V: SRE) is a publicly-traded company focused on the exploration and development of the Niobium Claim Group in Quebec.  The Niobium Claim Group covers several prospective and advanced-stage niobium-tantalum targets, where Saville Resources is completing an Earn-in Agreement with Commerce Resources for up to a 75% interest in the claim group. 

Niobium transforms materials into smarter materials to build greener structures, help make energy cleaner, and mobility more sustainable.  Saville Resources recently announced their assay results that highlight excellent intercepts of niobium on their Niobium Claim Group property (Quebec). In addition to the high grades of niobium, drill intercepts continue to return significant tantalum, fluorspar, and phosphate mineralization.

We sat down with Arctic Star's VP of Exploration Buddy Doyle to talk about the recent success of their Spring drilling program and what the company has in store for the coming months, including a revisit to their Finland project.   (Audio will be fixed next video)  Arctic Star is predominantly a diamond explorer, recently discovering 5 new kimberlites in the prolific Lac De Gras kimberlite field that supports 2 multi-billion dollar kimberlite mining complexes. The company also has a 958Ha Exploration permit containing several diamond bearing kimberlites on its Timantti project, Kuusamo Finland.   Arctic Star has optioned its Stein diamond project in Nunavut to GGL diamonds who plan work once Covid restrictions lift. Pat Power & Buddy Doyle from Arctic Star Exploration discuss the recent diamond discoveries at the Diagras project in the Canadian Northwest Territories.   

The Spring drilling program was designed to discover as many new kimberlites as possible within the given time and budget. The idea was to tag the kimberlite with one or two drill holes and return to them for further work if diamonds were present. Arctic Star has successfully shown the existence of the large kimberlite complex at Sequoia and we now know that it is significantly diamond bearing. Further work is therefore warranted.
