Before long, a cloud of dust rose ahead. A column of soldiers marched forward, banners snapping in the wind, spears and blades packed tightly together. Nuh-zhah thought:
“I can’t just attack for no reason. I’ll need an excuse.”
So he planted his spear across the road, spun his Wind-Fire Wheels, and sang a teasing tune as he blocked the path.
A scout galloped back:
“My lord! There’s a child standing in the road!”
