When the ministers heard that King Zhou had pardoned Jee-Chang, they were all relieved. But Jee-Chang was still grieving for Bo Yi Kao. He sighed, “My child, you should have stayed in Zhou, far away from Zhao Ge City. But you didn’t listen, and now you’ve met with disaster. Even a sage would not eat his own child’s flesh, yet as a father, I had no choice but to swallow it.”
