Allison and Michael are both veterans currently working at Honda, and Shawntea is works on the human resources team. Honda was one of the companies that founded INvets and plays a huge role in their region on both economic and community engagement fronts.

Wes and Jerry got to take an extensive tour of two of Faurecia’s facilities in Columbus Indiana and then got to speak with Dan, Joe and Natalia. We talked about the company’s name, what they do, what the culture is like and how veterans can pursue a wide variety of careers here in their Indiana facilities.

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane is located in Southern Indiana and is one of Indiana’s best kept secrets. Therron Thomas spoke with us in this episode about the wide variety of roles available to veterans in one of the most beautiful parts of the state.

In this episode, Jerry and Wes spoke with Ken Adgie at Allison Transmission in Speedway, Indiana. Ken’s title is Director, North America and U.S. Government Defense and he recently transitioned from the Army where he last held the position of Deputy Commandant and Dean of Student Affairs at the United States Army War College. Ken has great advice on navigating the transition process and is one of many veterans that have found a home at Allison Transmission.

This episode features a conversation with Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA). Wes and Jerry spoke with Nate Bibler and Ion, two veterans that currently work at SIA as well as Bob McQuern who leads Subaru's veteran recruitment here in Indiana. SIA is located in Lafayette, Indiana, roughly halfway between Indianapolis and Chicago and has a huge need for talent at their massive facility. Subaru was one of the founding partners of INvets in 2017 and continues to be heavily involved.

Wes spent five years in the US Army as an enlisted infantryman. Jerry has spent time in the US Air Force and Army National Guard in a variety of roles before retiring in 2016.
