Invictus by Greyana, A Tomione Podfic

Enjoy! My surgery is next week so this is probably the last update until I've recovered, we shall see what I can achieve in the next 6 days. 🤟

A massive thank you to the mastermind behind the master list of podfics, Tofulion for lending her voice to Vicencia.

Disclaimer: Reminder this is a free service and quite honestly if Spotify removed the ability to rate, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I am not a professional voice actor and my podfics will never be monetised or for profit. I am coming towards the end of my braces treatment and require elastics at all times, hence the lisp and whistle s's. All authors are asked permission before recording.

I am so sorry for the late upload, shizade caught COVID again and I had the worst flare up of chronic cholecystitis whilst recording the first half a few weeks ago, so it may be a little rougher around the edges. I was struggling to breathe. 😅

My surgery is on the 14th of October, so we're hoping to get CH26 and 27 out before then or at the very least recorded and ready to go.

Huge thank you to the small cameos in this episode, my bestie NoxTales reprising Piksy, iggygiraffe,TrillbySkinner, TimeWizardPodfics and booksandbanter for their "cheers!"

Me yeeting a random voice at Ciggy after spending 20 minutes trying to work out his age. 😂

Also, don't worry about not being able to hear those whispers, they're literally just there because I was struggling with ambiance for that part.

If you're curious, they say. "They say she has a house elf"

"I heard she rode a dragon!"

"I bet she slept her way to the top"

"Is she really Dumbledores daughter?"

Tom I beg of you, stop with the snakes 🤣 I can only find so many sounds short of pulling a Harry at the local zoo.

Also if you can hear my fan in the background, I'm not sorry because the multiple heatwaves are killing me.

Thanks to shizade as always, for helping despite her hectic schedule.

So, whilst shizade was on vacation, my health condition, now confirmed to be gallstones, has gotten increasingly worse. Surgery is going to take a hot minute because the waiting lists are massive. Meanwhile, I cannot promise consistent uploads or to read at the best of my ability, but I don't want to stop making these.

Shizade and I put some extra elbow grease into this, enjoy! 🥰

And thanks to my bestie @NoxTalesPodfics for voicing Piksy again.

Thank you so much to my best friend @NoxTales for her amazing voice work as the bitchy salesperson and debuting as Piksy because alas, I am limited with higher pitched voices. And as always thanks to shizade who has been going through it recently x

We went light with sounds on this one because to quote shizade "You hit semi-depressed Hermione so well, I'm almost scared to add anything to it" and after listening back, I agreed. I also don't want it to get too repetitive in the remaining 80 something chapters 😘

Thanks to shizade for her help as always! Apologies there's a weird subtle static in the background sometimes when Alphard talks, I've tried everything to remove it but Audacity has the AUDACITY to cease all logic.
