    FRESH FRIDGE #8

    AKA: NEWBS START HERE.

AKA: A podcast episode aimed at newcomers to blindfold chess and visualisation training.

Today we return to diagonals and find another way that we can use study material to our benefit even if the original problem is beyond our current skillset.
This time a variation on the theme - billiards bishops. Bouncing bishops off of the four edges of the board to practice visualisation of diagonals.

Also today: a message of encouragement from listener BlindAndrena.

Our guest reader today is Benji.  Thanks Benji :-)

This is another hacky King's Gambit from the 19th century. Funtimes.

Features a couple of mistakes from me. Also, that low hum you can hear in the background when I'm speaking? That's my mic picking up the boiler that was stopping me from freezing to death whilst I was recording.
