Iowa Fire Flyer Podcast

In this first FIRE episode, I discuss how I got started in the fire service.  I started as a volunteer, and worked several odd jobs until I was finally blessed with the opportunity to take a job as a full-time firefighter.  It wasn't easy, and it took a long time to figure out what I wanted to do, but I did my best to learn all along the way and I wouldn't change anything.  Take a listen, and if you have any questions regarding this episode or how to get started in the fire service, please reach out!

Welcome to the Iowa Fire Flyer Podcast!  In this episode, I will introduce you to the Iowa Fire Flyer project and tell you more about myself.  My name is Lance Routson, and I will be your host.  I am a firefighter and pilot living in Iowa.  I am passionate about the fire service and aviation, and I can't wait to share that passion with you, the listener.  This episode will tell you what you can expect from the podcast in the future and goes over the goals of the Iowa Fire Flyer project.  I will also provide you with all the information you need to get ahold of me with any questions you may have.  Thanks for listening!
