In this first FIRE episode, I discuss how I got started in the fire service.  I started as a volunteer, and worked several odd jobs until I was finally blessed with the opportunity to take a job as a full-time firefighter.  It wasn't easy, and it took a long time to figure out what I wanted to do, but I did my best to learn all along the way and I wouldn't change anything.  Take a listen, and if you have any questions regarding this episode or how to get started in the fire service, please reach out!
