IP Consultants Podcast

Is it Shadowlaw or Shadaloo? Vega or M. Bison? M. Bison or Balrog? Balrog or Vega? This week, Ian and Vincent explore not only names but also love lost in translation, regrets, mind control and political assassinations, in an effort to get to the bottom of the eternal question: Who is the Street Fighter, really?

In this week's episode, Ian clings on for dear life as Vincent goes almost immediately off the deep end with a first attempt to describe the ultimate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, not from beginning to end but from the ground up. Utter chaos ensues and this is almost certainly not the last word on this topic.

In memory of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Vincent and Ian try to figure out how to bring one of their most fantastic collaborations to the screen - and to the Marvel Cinematic Universe - without repeating past failures.

Nothing says holiday spirit like getting started a month early, except maybe Die Hard. In this episode, Vincent and Ian try to get to the core of what Die Hard is really about and how to possibly rescue it from the rut it's been stuck in.

After concluding that the Back to the Future IP is best left alone, Ian and Vincent go on to pitch a whole bunch of ways to ruin it as little as possible. This is blasphemy.

This week, Ian and Vincent tell Amy Pascal what to do with that extended Spider-Verse, go on tangents about the Dark Universe and mental health, and then proceed to lose their grip on reality.

After catching up on the James Gunn Suicide Squad(?) situation, Ian and Vincent fantasize about a new adaptation of "The Mask", a little known Dark Horse comic by John Arcudi and Doug Mahnke based on an idea by Mike Richardson that has previously been turned into a much known movie, a vaguely remembered cartoon, and a best forgotten legacy sequel to the movie.

In this episode, Ian and Vincent try to figure out an ideal game plan for the Warner Bros. DC Comics movie Factory, and for some reason go on tangents about X-Men and faeries.
