Dr. Alicia Gwynn, is an author, philanthropist , entrepreneur , president and CEO of Gwynn Sports a full-service marketing and design firm, wife of baseball great Tony Gwynn ,and President of the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to bettering the lives of disadvantaged children.
Gwynn has a Ph.D. in Education and holds degrees in Information Systems and Management.. In 1997 she received the Woman Who Means Business Award presented by the San Diego Business Journal.
She has also been honored as Volunteer of the Year by the philanthropy Council for her philanthropic achievements , named Woman of the Year by Neiman Marcus , and is a recipient of the prestigious Child Help USA For the Love of a Child Award.

Current Exhibition: Turning Tides August 19 - September 3
BFree presents Time for Women Artists (TWA)’s newest group show, “Turning Tides” The group will showcase their individual visions of what the theme means to them: ebb and flow, change, transition, the sea—and more. The works are in a range of sizes and media.

The exhibition will present works by all 12 TWA group members, showcasing their individual visions of what “Turning Tides” means to them. As we head into a changed world, post-pandemic and with social and political shifts, these are expressions of hope during transition, of ways to move forward, of the force of the spirit and the resilience of nature. The works are in a range of media: from textiles to painting, ceramic and bronze sculpture to mixed media, and in many styles, from abstract to whimsical to realism. The group has been working and showing together for 6 years, and were recently featured at the Oceanside Museum of Art in an exhibition titled “Now.” Member artists also show individually, in galleries and museums on both coasts, and their work is held in corporate and private collections worldwide.

JoAnn Fields is an active and strong advocate for communities of color. The Covid-19 pandemic magnified the lack of programs and services to serve the Filipino and Asian Pacific Islander community. She successfully launched a Filipino Covid-19 Taskforce, a professionals Filipino Networking Luncheon the Lumpia Club, has hosted a series of Stop API Hate Virtual Town halls to educate and advocate the needs of the Filipino and API community and recently a successful 2nd Annual Filipino American Friendship Festival at NTC Park at Liberty Station. JoAnn has over 20 years experience in government and public relations. Her family is her motivation to be a servant leader.
